- • Your 2022 federal tax returns, W-2’s, and other records of money earned.
- • Banking statements and records of investments (if applicable).
- • Records of untaxed income (if applicable).
- • List of colleges you would like to attend.
- Additional information you will need if you are completing the FAFSA:
- • Social Security Number. Be sure it is correct!
- • Your Alien Registration Number, if you (student) are not a U.S. citizen.
- • An FSA ID.
If you are a dependent student, you will report your information and your parents' information. If you are an independent student, you will only report your own information (and, if you are married, your spouse's). Please visit studentaid.gov/dependency for more information. Students and parents must each have a verified FSA ID to
complete the FAFSA. Plan on setting up your FSA ID at studentaid.gov/FSA-ID at least one week prior to completing the FAFSA, since it will take some time for the verification process.
