Each applicant will be eligible for a $500.00 scholarship for each year of service after meeting all requirements.
If a 10th grader is chosen, they will have the opportunity to represent the library for three years, while maintaining a GPA of 3.5. Receiving a total of $1500.00.
If an 11th grader is chosen, they will have the opportunity to represent the library for two years, while maintaining a GPA of 3.5. Receiving a total of $1000.00.
If a 12th grader is chosen, they will have the opportunity to represent the library for one year, while maintaining a GPA of 3.5. Receiving a total of $500.00.
We will select two ambassadors. The Library Ambassador will complete 36 total volunteer hours, with 10 of those hours as part of the Summer Reading Program. The chosen applicant will prepare a presentation for the Library Director and Board of Trustees that they will deliver in August. The applicants will be notified in July of the time and date of this presentation. Final selections will be announced September 1st. A schedule for orientation will follow.
